About the Friends
The Friends of Little Wormwood Scrubs is a voluntary group of local people who love and use the park and want to make sure it is well maintained and welcoming for everyone in the community. We were set up in 2004 as a not-for-profit organisation, governed by a constitution. The Friends were instrumental in raising the profile of the park and lobbying for the improvements that have made it the much-loved space that it is today. We continue to work closely with Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, the team who run the adventure playground, local organisations and the community that use the park.
We would love to have more people join as Friends and bring their ideas. It's free, it's friendly, and it's really rewarding to help look after the park and its future. We meet several times a year, usually in the early evening.
Our Chair is Sara Lauchlan; and our Treasurer is Saîd Aden. You can email us on: [email protected] or follow us on our Instagram feed: littlewormwoodscrubs
